North Cumbria and Dumfries Sustrans Cycle Map
The North Cumbria and Dumfries Sustrans Cycle Map is part of Sustrans pocket-sized map range.
The area covered includes Carlisle and the Cumbrian coast of the Solway Firth, and on the Scottish side of the border includes Dumfries, Annan and Lockerbie. It also run across to the Pennines as far as Haltwhistle.
A number of National Cycle Network routes pass through and are clearly shown:
There is the start of theLochs and Glens South cycle tour – National Route 7 between Raughton Head and Dumfries.
The western half of the long-distance cycle tour Reivers Route between Westlinton and Kielder Water is included.
A substantial part of Hadrian’s Cycleway, National Route 72, is shown.
Also shown is National Route 68, the Pennine Cycleway. between Alston and Wark Forest and National Route 74 between Gretna and north of Moffat.
