The route guide books are handily spiral bound, so you can turn to the page you want and fold the book in half, ready for quick reference. The UK Cycle Route Planner is an open-out map. OS Tour maps are available for some of the most popular areas of the UK to visit – Cornwall, Scotland, Wales, Devon, the Cotswolds and the Peak District.
Scale varies from one map to the next, depending on the size of area covered. Excellent for planning, and not bad on the road – though quite big to manoeuvre on the go!

The National Byway is a way marked route linking sites of historic interest using country lanes and quiet roads. Maps in print currently are The Midlands, North East England and Yorkshire.
You may have come across the brown signs as you cycle: these are the route maps to show you where those routes go.
Only three of the six maps are in print at the moment, but I gather there are plans to re-print the missing maps – East Midlands, South West England and South West Scotland.
